FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Straight answers about units, operators, contracts, and billing. Don't see yours? Ask us directly.
Do your forklifts come with operators?+
Yes — operator-inclusive packages are what we're built around. Certified operators come with the equipment and work day shift, night shift, or combined coverage. Multiple operators can cover the same unit across a full schedule, so the machine keeps working even when shifts change.
What contract periods do you offer?+
Our standard programs run quarterly, six months, or yearly, with defined start and end dates and a clear monthly rental rate as the base charge. Contracts can be extended, amended, or renewed as your operations continue — talk to us about the timeline that fits your site.
Should I choose a diesel or electric unit?+
It depends on your site. Diesel units suit outdoor yards, ramps, and heavy continuous work; electric units suit indoor operations where emissions and noise matter. Tell us your load profile and working environment and we'll recommend the right units for the job.
What areas do you serve?+
DLS serves businesses across the Philippines, with hubs in Tambler, General Santos City and Carmen, Davao del Norte — a strategic focus in Mindanao, with a growing nationwide footprint. If you operate multiple branches, we can deploy under one contract model across your locations — ask us about your specific sites.
How does monthly billing work?+
Every month you receive a clear statement: the base monthly rental rate, plus operator charges based on actual tracked hours, overtime, and applicable holiday or night differentials, minus any applicable deductions.
Hours, breaks, and overtime are tracked throughout the month, so what you're billed reflects what actually ran on your site.
Are your operators trained and certified?+
Yes — equipment operators, mechanics, and technicians go through safety training and equipment familiarization before deployment. They're documented, scheduled, and paid in line with Philippine labor norms — SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, holiday pay, and night differential rules are handled on our side, not yours.
Can you cover night shifts and double shifts?+
Yes. Day, night, and double-shift operations are our normal, not exceptions. Operators are scheduled to match your warehouse hours, and shift differentials are reflected transparently in the monthly statement.
What happens if a unit breaks down?+
Fleet availability is the product. DLS manages the fleet so units are maintained, repaired, or replaced as needed to keep your site moving — you don't carry the maintenance burden of ownership.
We have multiple branches. Do we need separate contracts?+
No — one contract can cover your company and its branches. Units are placed where the work happens, and the same rental and operator model applies across every location under one relationship.
How quickly can you deploy to our site?+
Lead time depends on the units and shift coverage you need and current fleet availability. Send us your site location, number of units, shifts, and target start date, and we'll confirm a deployment timeline in our proposal.
How do I get a quote?+
Use the request-a-quote form — tell us your company, site or branch location, how many units you need, the shifts you run, and when you want to start. We'll come back with proposed units, operator coverage, and a clear monthly rate.
